To join our organization all you need to do is send us your information and
a check for $15.00.* You will receive our monthly newsletter full of tips on
gardening, cooking with fruit, winemaking, specific plants, speakers, newsworthy
articles, upcoming activities and anything else we have room for that month.
You may join us on all field and Zip trips and every December, in lieu of a regular
meeting, we have a big buffet dinner party.

The Sarasota Fruit and Nut Society has an active membership, and if you want to be a member and enjoy the privileges of our Society, you must be willing to contribute with your own special efforts to make this a working fellowship. Below is a list of ways that you can help. Choose yours before you join. Service options (circle your choices) |
- Monthly meeting set up (arrives at 6:00 p.m.)
- Monthly meeting take down (stays 'til 9:00p.m.)
- Coffee, tea, and tasting table set up and take down
- General clean-up after monthly meetings
- December Banquet Buffet: volunteer services.
- Contribute to Tasting Table (usually home-made deserts, twice or more per year)
- Contribute to Plant Raffle Table (Tropical food-plants twice or more per year)
- Zip Trip Sponsorship- (show off your yard)
- Annual Estate clean-up projects.
- Orange Grove maintenance projects.
- TREE SALE
- Set-up ( signs, tents, etc.)
- Cashiers and cashier helpers
- Parking attendants
- Yard helpers: raffle sales, plant holding area, Monitors and security
- Sale announcement distribution
- Provide an article, photo, biography, book review or tropical fruit recipe to the newsletter
- 10 minute horticultural presentation as a panel member

*Membership is $15 for one calendar year from January to January ($7.50 if you join June or later) and includes everyone living in the same household.
